Doubtful Days and Daunting Dreams is about the struggles of a shadowed introvert. They want to follow societies’ norms by going to parties, and having conversations in big groups, but the self-doubt they have weighs over in every situation.
The entire compilation is meant to be soft sounding, as it reflects the thoughts of the introvert’s mind. They are a very mellow individual, much of their life is spent without obtrusive noises. The social encounters play a little louder to show the cloudiness, and distress these situations display on the introvert, they hardly ever seek this sort of interactions.
The repeating outburst calling out Spencer Strausmore, is an internal thought of some people the introvert has come across in their life. They have encountered many Spencer’s in their life and absolutely despise anyone of the sort.
Even the girl of the introvert’s dreams is in love with a Spencer Strausmore and has expressed that to them many times. It displeases the introvert to know that someone they love seeks a connection with someone so toxic.
The bit at the end shows the displeasure with their own actions, lacking the urge to be able to socialize like the others. Aggression is not uncommon for the introvert, but only if it does not include others.
The cooing baby is the introvert’s inner thoughts as they drift into a restless sleep.
